  I would like to respond to Renee's Review. You came to me with a $1,000 wedding cake that you wanted. However, your budget was no where near $1,000. Every cake you showed me had fondant, but you didn't want fondant. I explained to you that buttercream will never look as smooth and perfect as fondant. I also explained to you that I would have to adjust the design due to not using fondant. The day of your wedding was christmas eve. We had been in contact about delivering the evening before since I wasn't even open on christmas eve. I in no way rushed to get your cake done. I take tremendous pride in my work a would never rush any order. I did call you and tell you i got it done in time to deliver the evening before your wedding. (which we had discussed numerous times) After my assistant delivered the cake - she told me you didnt seem happy with it. So, I called you to see what the problem was. After speaking with you and always want my customers to be 100% satisfied I offered to come to the venue and fix the cake to the best of my ability. I fixed what i could that you were not happy with. Before I left, I asked you a few times if there was anything else I could do. You said no. I have attached a picture of your wedding cake. Is it the cake you wanted? Perhaps not. But, it is the cake you ordered and paid for.

  Extremely disappointed with my wedding cake. For starters it's not wise to call a bride after making her cake in less then 2 hours and telling her you rushed to get it done...and it showed. The cake was extremely sloppy. We saw the layers of the cake through the icing. She said she couldn't fix it because it's just how buttercream icing is..I've never heard of that and neither have any of the 20 people I've told about our cake. The icing was clumpy, smushed and uneven in certain areas and our cake topper was placed and then taken out and moved..we know this because she left the holes on top of our cake. On the other hand the cake was delicious but for what she charges and what the cake looked like, we were highly dissatisfied.
